Hi everyone:
Patty is feeling quite a bit better today. Her nausea, while still present, is much milder than it was yesterday. UCH was able to resolve the medication issue with Blue Cross, so she should be better equipped to fight the battle with upset stomach. Today, Patty and I are planning to tackle a few errands together.
She has been experiencing a few interesting side effects from her medication. We think she may be losing some of her hair (a relatively common but temporary side effect of Cytoxan), and she has broken out with some small, itchy red bumps on her upper back, upper chest and forehead. We're trying to keep as complete a record of her experience as possible, so here's a look at the bumps:
And here's a pic from this morning of Kelly, Patty and Caleigh (Joe's daughter):
If anything further transpires over the course of the day, I'll be back with more. For now, though, I'm going to enjoy Patty's energy while it lasts.
Love,
Brian

If you meet someone who doesn't have a smile, give them yours. I know some people that do it all the time.
Love,
Dolly
While I cheer for Patty's energy at every possible chance, it is yours, Brian, that amazes me. Hang in there, both of you. Many prayers to you --
Keep up the good work. thnx!
