A new photo

Hi everyone:

I haven't posted many pictures of Patty lately. She's been exercising regularly, has lost 27 pounds, and is looking pretty fit and awesome, in my opinion. In fact, I think her surgeon was surprised at how healthy she looks, especially for one heading into a procedure for heart failure patients. We've been going through the blog a lot lately, and still shake our heads at the extent of her recovery. I suspect her doctors do as well.

Anyway, here she is. This is not a big purple afro, or a floral tumor; these are actually the hanging plants Patty discovered at Costco and has been bragging about to anyone who'll listen.
